Wedding Day
On February 15, 2025, we invite you to join us at the breathtaking Lalu Hotel 涵碧樓, nestled in the serene beauty of Sun Moon Lake 日月潭, Taiwan. With its blend of modern elegance and traditional charm, Lalu offers the perfect backdrop for our special day.
Our celebration will begin with an Outdoor Ceremony on the Sky Terrace, where panoramic views of the lake and mountains will frame the moment as we say our vows. Afterward, we’ll join in a Chinese-style lunch with an exquisite view of the tranquil waters, where every flavor will reflect the harmony of the surroundings. As the day turns to evening, we’ll continue with an after party, designed for intimate celebration, laughter, and creating unforgettable memories.
The Perfect Valentine’s Escape

We recommend arriving in Taiwan by February 13th at the latest to adjust to the time zone and make the most of your trip! If you want to come a few days earlier, we have a few recommendations of things to see in Taipei City to enjoy the vibrant energy of Taiwan’s capital.
-
Before 2/14, we suggest you stay in Taipei. Go to the Taipei page to see the list of recommendations.
For the night of 2/14 and 2/15 (wedding day), please see more details on the Schedule page.

Since the Lalu Hotel is located in the scenic Sun Moon Lake area, outside of Taipei, we’ve made it easy for those who want to travel with the main group. On February 14, 2025, we’ll all meet in Taipei (exact location TBD) and take the high speed rail + shuttle together to the Lalu Hotel, which will take about 3 hours.
If you prefer to make your own travel arrangements, that is totally fine too!

Visa: Many nationalities can enter Taiwan visa-free (including the US), but please check ahead of time if a visa is required for your stay.
Currency: The local currency is the New Taiwan Dollar (NTD). A lot of places still use cash, but ATMs are widely available. Credit cards are accepted at hotels or bigger restaurants.
Transportation: Taiwan’s public transportation is efficient and easy to navigate. We recommend using the MRT in Taipei for convenient city travel.
Language: Mandarin is the official language, but many people in Taipei speak basic English, especially in tourist areas.
Weather: February is typically mild in Taipei, but it will get chilly around the Sun Moon Lake in the evenings, so please bring jackets.
